🐤❤️🐤 Gambel's quail (Callipepla gambelii) 🐦🦜🕊️🎵❤️

1⃣Gambel's quail (Callipepla gambelii) is a small ground-dwelling bird in the New World quail family. It inhabits the desert regions of Arizona, California, Colorado, New Mexico, Nevada, Utah, Texas, and Sonora; also New Mexico-border Chihuahua and the Colorado River

2⃣region of Baja California. The bird's average length is 28 cm (11 in) with a wingspan of 36–41 cm (14–16 in ). Gambel's quail can be commonly confused with California quail due.

3⃣Gambel's Quail Callipepla gambelii has most recently been assessed for The IUCN Red List of Threatened Species in 2020. Callipepla gambelii is listed as Least Concern.
