2/x 🖋 The sender of the DMCA notice or counter-notice is required to sign it under penalty of perjury, and include their name, address, and telephone number. But there's a workaround, at least for Roblox.

3/x 📃 Under Section 6(d) of Roblox’s terms of use, the agent of the copyright owner can submit the DMCA notice or counter-notice on the copyright owner’s behalf.

4/x What does that mean? ➡ It means that your agent, not you, provides his or her name, address, and phone number. Your identity remains hidden. So who can be your agent? 👨‍💼 Your lawyer, among other people.

I have no problem with providing personal info with the submission BUT they really shouldn’t send the personal information that we’re submitting to for obvious reasons. Even if it’s an agent.
