Cringe! Paula White paralleled Trump to Jesus, saying: “Mr. President, no one has paid the price like you have paid the price. It almost cost you your life. You were betrayed and arrested and falsely accused. It’s a familiar pattern that our Lord and Savior showed us but it didn’t end there for Him, and it didn’t end there for you. And I believe that the Lord said to tell you this: because of His victory, you will be victorious in all you put your hands to.” If that doesn’t make you cringe, the comparison, the parallel to the Messiah, then I’m not sure what will. Especially that prosperity declaration at the end, that you will be successful in all that you put your hand to. We don’t have any guarantee of that. We have no promise of that in Scripture. We’ve been given no promise of that by God Himself. I hope that Trump is successful in the things that are righteous and good, but the comparison to the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords to Jesus Christ is just unnecessary and simply not true. Let’s just not do that. And let’s not “name it and claim it” either because that’s not something we have the right, the authority, or the guidance to do.

They said this cow was worthless. $400. That’s what they paid for a black-and-white that most folks at the sale barn had already written off. Too weak, too far gone, not worth the feed or the trouble. Two weeks later DJ is standing on his own, following the guys around the yard like he owns the place. They named him DJ because he perked up every time they played music in the barn while they were nursing him back. That’s the part that gets me. In farming you see it all the time — the ones that look like they won’t make it are the ones that end up surprising you the most. The ones everyone else walks past. A little extra care, a little patience, and suddenly you’ve got something that was never supposed to be there. It’s a good reminder that value isn’t always sitting there in the obvious places. Sometimes you have to look past what’s on paper and give something a real chance. Anybody else ever bought something “worthless” that turned out to be one of the best calls you ever made?

Adeboye. • Whether the devil likes it or not, you'll see the new year. • According to Luke 2:10-11, the day Jesus was born, an angel came and told the people, "fear not". • I want you to tell the fellow next to you, “fear not, all will be well”. • When we talk about Jesus Christ, you'll discover that there's no human being like Him. • All over the world for more than 2000 years, wherever they are celebrating His birthday, the whole world celebrates. You can't find any other man like that. • Even when 2 nations are fighting and they are at war, there's this unwritten law that says when it is Christmas, every enemy will stop fighting. • I have good news for somebody today, all the wars in your life will end today. • The good news is the great physician was born today and the good news is if you're sick, the One who is going to heal you has visited you today. • The good news is the One who was born, that we are celebrating His birth and His name is the truth. He said I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. • It is written, you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free. • How is that good news? • It means, if anybody is here today and you're under bondage and there are forces of darkness working against you wherever from your mother, father, husband’s house or place of work.
