Full transparency a few of these I did just remove the keyframes of cuz I didn't have the original LO files😭

But how do you even lay out 😭 being able to do the motion for aerial fights or quick combat without any poses is insane it feels harder than just animating it

I THOUGHT EXACTLY THE SAME. In the air specifically, moving the root is so much easier than doing each pose as you go. What matters more is how they move around the screen, people don’t see their poses as much as they do their actual screen space. Me personally, I’ve never flown before so as much as I want to animate flying pose by pose… idk how that physically works xd But what I can do is pose based on how they move around the screen. For combat on the ground I feel moving them like this was only helpful because of the kind of shot it was where they’re moving all over the screen, similar concept to the flying part. You just need to have a rough picture of what you want to happen and you can adjust the timing, locations and stuff when you actually animate. Just having the visual of where they’ll be is so much more helpful than building it from nothing.

at least in first few seconds i see u kept the timing the exact same, so when i do layout should i try to do a good final timing

So the first bit before she gets knocked onto the pillar was the section I just removed the animation for this video. The timing in the actual LO was a tad bit off but was very close to how it ended up. Just have a rough timing based on the actions you want and adjust :D

Hear me out. Person has a super power that turns them into an unrivaled fighting legend, but in order to do that, their body locks into this flat hands-at-sides pose and God takes the wheel. That sounds so funny.

Obv gave other people LO but I never made any for myself. Also wasn't much fight LO given out.

That is true, knowing ahead of time what to count on and what to work towards makes your life much easier in the long run.
