Southgate never coaching again so people don't realize how shite he is
Could it possibly be that he was simply found out as a coach? He was a failed ex-Middlesbrough manager who spent 12 yrs working for the FA because NOBODY wanted him in charge of their club team!
He would be a good postman
He should work at the FA in a senior (non-coaching) role. Great at creating a culture, external comms, and integrating young players (Saka, Rice, Foden, Bellingham etc). Struggled mightly in high level matches (WC SF, Euro Final x2) tactically.
