@mrdanwalker So who at the BBC are going to face consequences for lying to the public? Or is that breach of standards fine when it's not complained about by the Tories?

@mrdanwalker BBC can't even tell the truth when they release a press statement??

@EmmaKennedy @mrdanwalker BBC statement on Lineker included that he should "keep well away from taking sides on party political issues or political controversies". I’m guessing the BBC Chairman will be taking a step back too.

@mrdanwalker The BBC lied…on @bbc5live they implied it was a mutual agreement until both sides reach an arrangement.

@EmmaKennedy @mrdanwalker Surely the bbc are showing a lack of impartiality themselves by siding with the government and suspending him??

@mrdanwalker But another BBC employee can say what he wants 🤔 #DoubleStandards

@mrdanwalker What about some consistency then, isn the BBC also taking same action against Alan Sugar?

@mrdanwalker You’ll be glad you left when you did, Dan x

@mrdanwalker @bbc @GaryLineker @IanWright0 It was only a year or so ago the Tories tried to make it illegal to rescue refugees drowning in the English Channel. Lineker is absolutely right.
