And weirdly, in this case, it’s James O'Brien For the last ten months, Sangita Myska has allowed the antisemitic conspiracy theory that she was let go from LBC because she’d been aggressive towards an Israeli govt spokesman to fester. When a caller mentioned this to O’Brien he let rip at his former colleague, explaining it was down to her ratings and said he was sickened by the way she’d been silent about the ‘slurs and antisemitic conspiracy theories about her former colleagues’. He added that the idea that she had been silenced was ‘palpably absurd’. I’m glad, actually, that James has had a taste of antisemitic conspiracy and how it works. Perhaps he could even think about how this conspiracy didn’t just affect him, but UK Jews in general. And how it was just one of hundreds of conspiracy theories we have to endure. A reminder that Gary Lineker lost his job for reposting an antisemitic post which - and this important- he recognised as such and apologised for. Apparently that is ‘integrity’. The attempts at appropriating martyrdom for being antisemitic or pro terror is truly revolting. Contrast it with the treatment of Boy George who record a pro-peace, pro Jew record and was pushed out of a theatre role while his label boss refused to release the record.
