@JohnDoe1470924 It's a book written by Neil Gaiman AND Terry Pratchett, and this line rings a lot of Pratchett's wit and snark than Gaiman's. But even then I dont think it's awful at all; poverty as a virtue DOES exist in most Christian sects. This was them making fun of the entire thing
