What I love about this scene is that it stays true to Palpatine respecting Yoda and his power as an adversary. In this scene, he calls him "MASTER Yoda" and "strong". In episode 2, he directly asks him if HE specifically thinks a war is coming. In episode 3, he attempts to retreat from the fight with Yoda at first, bc he knew Yoda was basically his light side equivalent and didn't want to risk losing everything now, so close to victory.

ANATOMY OF A SCENE: Shaka humanized scene On the first episode of Season 2 of #ShakaiLembeS2, this was my favourite scene. This scene while at face value is about showing Shaka's strategic forward thinking and some modicum of "umusa". Oh, but it does so much more. In a country where the viewers like melodrama, in its quietness this scene drives the story forward. It is setting up the character flaws and qualities that will be exhibited by Shaka later in his lifestory. When Shaka cuts Sompisi's ear later in the episode, it is a seed that is planted in this scene of his character as a person — HE can be merciful in his brutality. PERFORMANCE... For me, this is the best scene when it comes to performance in this episode. As a viewer, I feel like I'm invading the privacy of these two actors / characters. The actor playing opposite Shaka is performing ... I believe him. He is in it! If you catch my drift. I feel his pain and understand his anger towards Shaka. You can see the emotions simmering and bubbling inside the actor. Lemo also plays it perfectly in this moment by flattening his delivery. You are not supposed to read Shaka beyond his words here. Wrong director and performances, this scene would have been played for shock value. But, thankfully, this team gave us a measured but intentionally layered scene.

One of the most important scenes in tonight’s #Corrie. Dylan’s conversation with his dad showed how easily teens can see things online without understanding the risks. How it's highlighted that not everyone does it. He couldn’t grasp how something he and Betsy both agreed to, which wasn’t intended as an act of brutality, could still cause devastating harm. By making it clear Betsy consented, they still made a point that consent doesn’t automatically mean something is safe. This storyline is changing conversations about how young people view sex, one scene at a time.

So this is the behind-the-scenes moment Yin Zheng was talking about! When he’s standing there, he really is Mo Dexian🥺 👤: When the soldiers first entered the village, Xiao Mo was standing there. After the gunshot, a single tear just fell from his eye. While we were acting the scene, I reached out and wiped that tear from his face. And Xiao Mo’s reaction was to suddenly tense up. gonna write long for this one amazing scene 😭👏🏻 #TicketToHeavenEP4 for this scene when barth intended to hug tanrak but tanrak still seemed afraid of being that intimate in a school area. he kept calling barth’s name, trying to stop him from hugging him. but being the soft, green-flag boy he is, barth jokingly said, “why are you calling me so loud? i was right here.” it might sound like a joke but it actually gave tanrak a feeling of relief. like barth would always be there beside him, so he didnt have to worry about everything bc he is always there for tanrak.. also in the end tanrak let barth hug him, and even took the initiative to hold barth’s hand first before hugging him back. he say thank you to barth prob bc barth gives him happiness without him needing to put in effort. just “trust me and i will always be with you.” ❤️‍🩹
