@lichtfeldstudio 30% Fascinated 70% stressed out

@lichtfeldstudio Awesome reconstruction. What made your mind switch to LichtFeld? Gernot? ;)

@lichtfeldstudio I tweaked the settings a bit, to mild success.. maybe you spot something. The rest is all default, maybe I should look into any others?

You can try if mrnf performs better at all, maybe lower pos lr, try to play with opacity lr. It definitively has a better opacity properties. There is likely a lot to gain with a much better parameterization for your type of projects. But that's a project itself and it takes time to figure that out :)

@lichtfeldstudio Thanks. I've tried MRMF, tends to fail into smaller splats and more visible holes.. while MCMC tends to at least be a bit "clunkier"... I should try around some more with this set. It always kind of ends up a game of whack a mole. 🙁

@janusch_patas Maybe I will look into it. I think the parameters would be similar to all your datasets as they follow a pattern. Needs a systematic run over the parameter setup.

The most I'm struggling is the Mask mode. They all seem to work similar, except alpha consistent, which just brutally constraints the splats to the surface. Now with segment and higher penalty weight and lower power, I def. get an improvement. No idea if that's the right Mask Mode though. My masks are usually quite good, so it makes sense they play a bigger role.

@lichtfeldstudio Beautiful, even the legs are rendered. The colours are very interesting.

@lichtfeldstudio BOMB ✨

@lichtfeldstudio I love your work. That's very satisfying to watch
