PPISP will arrive in the upcoming nightly build of LichtFeld Studio! It is now fully supported including the controller. LichtFeld is the only software that also provides GUI integration. Give it a shot in the next build. I tried to make it as memory efficient as possible and it only adds a small VRAM penalty. However, the controller comes with some downsides: It is an extra file to not pollute the ply The appearance adjustments cannot be baked into the splat, i.e. you will need LFS for now Hard to imagine that any popular web viewer will support it anytime soon However, very soonish there will be a sequencer which you can use to create videos. As LichtFeld Studio continues to grow and expand, that's not going to be a real downside anyway :)

Look at how crispy this 3d gaussian splat came out! The reflections in the painting have me floored. Captured with a Sony a7iii camera and 18mm lens. I posed the imagery using epic's reality capture and trained it with lichtfeld studio. Lichtfeld is my new favorite way to train splats -- it integrates all the latest research and it’s completely free. Also what I love about 3d capture -- you can process old datasets with new algorithms and breathe new life into them.

I'm excited to share the Geo Register Plugin for LichtFeld Studio from the LichtFeld community! This plugin helps bring Gaussian splat scenes into real-world geographic space. It registers a scene to WGS-84 and ECEF coordinates, so you can click any point on the model and get its latitude, longitude and altitude. It supports multiple georeferencing sources, including EXIF GPS data, image position CSVs, RealityScan camera parameters and saved similarity transforms. Once the scene is registered, you can export geo-referenced splat models as LAS, LAZ or 3D Tiles datasets for use in GIS and 3D mapping workflows. Built for anyone working with drone data, photogrammetry, Gaussian splatting, GIS, ArcGIS or CesiumJS. Link in the comment below!

Finally, Apple's ML-Sharp will run directly in the upcoming Python scripting module in LichtFeld Studio as a plugin. This is not another ML-Sharp UI! The LichtFeld release 0.5 will transform LichtFeld Studio from mere splat software into a comprehensive platform. I'm developing a plugin system that will require uploading Python plugin scripts to GitHub with all dependencies specified. In LFS, you'll simply need to type the GitHub repo URL, and it will import the extension. Dependencies are managed by the integrated UV packet management. You'll be able to run Colmap, SAM3, Depth Models, and more directly in LFS, and even create your own UIs. This change will be transformative for the 3DGS software ecosystem. The custom LichtFeld tensor library is already fully interoperable with PyTorch via dlpack, bringing all the ML power into LFS if desired. I'm extremely hyped and excited about these upcoming features.

oh may.. 3D Gaussian Splat is so crazy now last time we need weeks to turn a room into a 3D model.. now with AI 3DGS, you do it in seconds… even zoom into the text and looks perfect give it like 6 months… you can turn a whole city into a full detailed 3D model

Gaussian Splatting is pretty wild. Being able to take dense collections of assets and package them into fast, real-time splats opens up a ton of new possibilities for look-dev, previs, and interactive scenes. For this test, I built a pile of 400 skulls - roughly 40+ million polygons (and over 400 8K texture instances) - rendered out a 600 frame dataset on The Render Network with OTOY OctaneRender and then converted the result into a single splat asset. Now it runs in real-time as one compact Gaussian Splat.

Everybody is stepping into the LOD game, and so is LichtFeld Studio. Preview of 260M Gaussians streaming into the viewer live. I use the RAD format which is processed on GPU within LichtFeld. It can be also simply dumped straight into the spark.js web viewer, albeit it will die at that amount of Gaussians. What other solutions don't tell you is that they need hours to preprocess a 3DGS ply to make it streamable. This was just a ply exported to RAD by LichtFeld Studio's convert tool (took 5 min at that size) and it is immediately ready to stream. In the comments there is a smaller dataset with 103M Gaussians that streams on startup into the viewer. Both datasets were created by Andrii Shramko. Let's see how far I can push this (need bigger datasets)

Kerry Kennedy on Tarp at Kennedy Center: This is typical of an administration that doesn't believe in transparency. It doesn't believe in transparency and decision making. It doesn't believe in transparency in the courts. It doesn't believe in transparency in when or why it goes to war or why it stops these wars. And it doesn't believe in transparency for something as small as this. Now, to me, it's very, very important that the Kennedy Center be retain its name. But it's also symbolic of a larger problem of transparency and corruption by this administration.
