At my job, I am forced to take trainings every year regarding accepting gifts from customers. Long story short, we are not allowed to because that may result in favoritism. Any government official that if filthy rich like this should be investigated. Does he own a lucrative business? I find it hard to believe insider trading or bribery isn't involved.
