A lot of people in the quotes saying that this is a valid and good way to judge someone’s character…something as arbitrary is music? No wonder y’all are perpetually single.

I’m all for learning shared interests but there is a difference between asking “Who is your favorite artist/singer/rapper?” vs. “Nicki or Cardi?” The latter indicates cattiness and tribalism and lets me know that you think there is a right and wrong answer. It’s just a red flag.
