I have to admit, I’m surprised by your comment. Hamas prioritizes its own survival far more than the destruction of Gaza or the welfare of its citizens. Had Israel permanently taken territory from Gaza and relocated some of the population, it would be a different story. As things stand now, however, Hamas remains very much alive, and for them, this counts as a significant achievement.

All of that is not worth 1 Jewish life, so they didn't win, but we didn't either.
