Chief Pfeifer spur of the moment and sound decision to allow the filming to continue inside the North Tower does not get enough credit. For the families of the firefighters filmed in the lobby that morning as well as historians, the film is priceless.

In a counterfactual where the towers didn't collapse, I wonder if there's anything that could have been done to put those upper floors out. I'm afraid I doubt it. Everyone above the impact zone in Tower 1 were doomed, god bless them

It was a brilliant move. The NYPD and FDNY actually had their own videographers and photographers, but almost none of them survived that day.

I hate to think how Jules was feeling after that day- such a terrible thing to experience.
