@GVDBossche @ALEXNEWMAN_JOU 2 years ago the outbreak was caused by clade 2, which was effectively controlled by vaccination and behavior modification. The current outbreak is caused by the more virulent clade 1, which has always been around and is raging in a part of the world that does not vaccinated.
