Gege talk about Megumi & Yuji The interaction between them & how he named Megumi Host:“Next is Megumi. He belongs to the Zenin family, one of the Three Great Clans, the Zenin bloodline , the type of character often described as a cool genius. Can you tell us about... the origin of this character?” Gege:“Do you mean the origin of his name?” Host:(nods) Gege:“The origin of his name? it comes from shadow.’” Host:“it’s related to his ability?” Gege:“Yes. It was decided because he can use shadows.” Host:“He can summon shikigami from shadows, the Ten Shadows Technique. It’s a really unique shadow ability. At first, it was hard to read (hard to pronounce in Japanese ) so simply used the phonetic readings for their names” Gege: (laughs) Host:“So he’s in the role of a rival to the MC, a cold genius with black hair, a cool(distant )feeling. I love getting to know Secretary Rubio like this! Katie Miller asked him two questions: 1. Who do you think is the funniest in the whole cabinet? 2. Who’s your best friend in the administration? 1. A man booked an Airbnb for two people. What they didn’t disclose was one of the guests was a bride for her wedding. That they booked it so her bridal party could get ready in. The host has rules, and that no more than three cars can be parked due to no street parking. The man who actually booked the home was never actually there nor was he going to be there. I wanted to talk about the “harem” aspect of Chitose Is In The Ramune Bottle and how I feel it’s done differently than most “harem” shows. First of all yes all the heroines do have feelings for Saku, yes each of them know that they all have feelings for him and each heroine have a unique relationship with Saku when it comes down to their conversations and how they hang out. I think the biggest difference from other romcom/harem protagonist is Saku himself and how he is aware of all the girls liking him but because of his philosophy (the video i posted shows what Saku thinks about “falling in love”) he chooses not to pursue a relationship with anyone. The nature of the protagonist and the nature of the story/set up I feel is what makes it different from any other romcoms, it also doesn’t help that the author makes good cases for why Saku should be with (insert heroine) every moment with the cast feels like they can be a couple in any other series.

But there’s still a pattern we can kind of catch—this happens a lot during filming periods. It really happens very often. Because now we’re filming two series at the same time, it’s actually quite difficult to manage our daily routines. For example, in a week there are seven days, right? We might already be out filming four or five days. When you’re shooting two projects at once, even reading scripts becomes hard. Like, we just finished an event at night, and we still have to read scripts first, because the next day we need to wake up at 5 a.m. to go to set. It slowly becomes a daily habit. 🎸: We’re both very tired, because we’re working on the same set of projects—two series, Peach and Me, right, and You Maniac. We’re filming both together, so we understand each other and can really feel what the other is going through since we’re on the same production. We also share updates with each other, like “how are you doing?” and things like that. Because we’re both exhausted, we just think, okay, since it’s like this, let’s give ourselves some time. The trip itself wasn’t packed at all. It was basically like: okay, we go eat at the restaurant we already booked, and then we go… MC: Who was the first to suggest this trip? 🎸: Phi Est. It was Phi Est. When he has free time, his mindset is a bit different from mine. When he’s free, he likes to travel, while I prefer to sleep. So he was the one who first came up with the idea. He basically presented a plan to us, like “does this work?” Then he’d say we’re going to take a boat tour, go here, go there, and so on. He basically planned the whole itinerary in detail. MC: Can you really switch out of that heavy, exhausted state and detach properly? 🎸: Yes, we can. Because it feels like we finally have time to breathe again—a deep breath into the lungs. So I just lay by the sea, let the boat carry us, and look at the sky. That was honestly one of the most satisfying moments of my life, because I felt like that alone was enough. MC: Because your travel styles are similar—he and you like the same kind of travel. 🎸: The style is similar, but he’s a bit more adventurous. Phi Est would go surfing and things like that, right?
