1. You can have it mix and match text and image gen inside a single output. There are so many places this can be useful. Its also able to generate any image, not just cartoons.

This feature is insanely powerful , you can do so much with it. Google is crushing it, no hype, just delivering. Mad respect for the Google DeepMind and Gemini team!
