I found a sweet spot with: VSCode nightly MCP Roo Code Rules / instructions MD Gemini 2.5 Pro That being said, nothing can build an actual decent web app for public use, without heavy handholding and fundamental dev / ops knowledge. Great for spinning up small things, static PoC etc.

@cline I've now fully switched from Sonnet 3.7 => Gemini 2.5 Pro. A lot of improvements make this a very capable model for web development.

You can team Gemini 2.5 Pro with OpenAI's o3 model to build beautiful SwiftUI animations. This example prompts Gemini 2.5 Pro to watch an mp4 video of a recorded animation and generate a SwiftUI version.
