How I created these landing pages with Gemini 3 from start to finish First, I start with the hero section. It includes the nav bar, eyebrow, headline, subheadline, cta, social proof and visual. I spend 50% of the time here because it sets the colors, typography, spacing, which AI uses for the rest of the site consistently. “Create the hero section for my {app} called {name} in the style of {reference_site}”. Pro tip: use a screenshot and you’ll get way better results. Let’s get into the details. For icons, I prompt: “Use Iconify {icon set name}”. Most people use Lucide, but there are hundreds of open-source sets on Iconify like Solar, HeroIcons, Iconoir, Phosphor, etc. Just need to mention in the prompt. Same for custom fonts. For the animation, I prompt: “Animate fade in, slide in, blur in, element by element. Use 'both' instead of 'forwards'. Don't use opacity 0.”. This creates a subtle intro animation the first time users land on your page. Gemini 3 is an excellent animator. For example, I created the beam animation with this prompt: “Add noodles that connect and beam animate into the right circle. Add subtle details to the right beam animation circle with sonar and decorations.” For background animation, I use Unicorn Studio. Remix one of their templates and watch people click on your cover like crazy. What can I say, people love lasers. In the hero or right below it, social proof is super important. You can put ratings or logos, or both. For logos, you can prompt: “Animate the logos with marquee animation looping infinitely using duplicated items and alpha mask.”. Now the CTA. AI always creates basic buttons, which is fine 99% of the time. But Gemini 3 now sets a high bar for baseline design, so you will need to stand out. That’s why I put the extra human touch on animations and lickable buttons. I suggest browsing UIVerse and Codepen for buttons and reference the code in your prompt: “Change main button {code} and secondary button {code}. Add a 1px border beam animation around the pill-shaped main button on hover.”. Once you’re happy with the hero, you’ll want to craft new sections based on your business. Features, action plan, pricing, testimonials, FAQ, CTA and footer are the popular ones. Insert a screenshot and prompt “Adapt a new section, change texts, names and numbers”. Gemini 3 is very smart. It reads your existing styles and site concept and will tastefully mold new designs to fit perfectly into your current site. Finally, repeat the same prompts for icons, buttons and animations. Use midjourney images and remix using Nano Banana Pro. Ask ChatGPT to come up with better headlines, features, ctas, etc. Don’t skip the human part, this is where you’re irreplaceable. Start prompting top-tier landing pages and watch your numbers grow.

How I turn my templates into real landing pages. Works for any vibe coding platform or site. This is my full guide. I start with Gemini 3. I copy the HTML code and paste to Cursor/v0/lovable and prompt "Create a new landing page /page-name using this design but adapted to {site_name}. Replace the header and footer with the ones from my site. Adapt the whole page, keep everything: {HTML_code}" Details that can to be adapted or improved: Fonts: "Use {font_name} Google font for headings and {font_name} for body text." Icons: "Use Iconify {icon_set} icons" Colors: "Change primary color to blue. Everything else should be monotone." Bonus: "Make the outlines subtle" for a cleaner design. Animation intro/on scroll: "Animate when in view observed, fade in, slide in, blur in, element by element. Use 'both' instead of 'forwards'. Don't use opacity 0." Static to animated: "Animate details with {animate_type} and decorations.". Example types: line, beam animation, noodles, grid, sonar, etc. Background animation: "Apply the background animation using Unicorn Studio {animation_code}" Details to make your layout stand out: "Add vertical container-size lines. Add 01 02 03 number details." Stand out from generic-looking: "Make this more upscale with large tall fonts, Newsreader font and black and white agency". Adapt content: "Adapt the content to {copy and paste site texts}". Buttons: "Change main button to {code}. Add a 1px border beam animation around the pill-shaped button on hover." Adding sections like testimonials: "Adapt a new section after {section} using this code: {component code}". You can copy the code from Codepen, 21st dev or Aura. Responsiveness: "Make this responsive. Add a hamburger menu for mobile. Hide this {element} for mobile." Making forms work: "Make the form send an email to {your_email}". Payments: "Link the buy button to {LemonSqueezy payment link}". I use composer-1 for quick fixes. I finish with Claude Opus 4.5 for code reviews "Please review the code for performance and robustness". The template HTML code should give you a blueprint for all these, but I think it's important to keep iterating for your specific site.

CSS Tip! 🐳 You can add little details like this scale down on scroll effect with scroll-driven animations and some sticky positioning 🤙 section { animation: scale-down; animation-timeline: view(); animation-range: exit; } @​keyframes scale-down { to { scale 0.8; } ] In this smaller example, you can lean into using the position to drive an animation that scales itself down as it leaves the viewport (Seen on the Apple Vision Pro site 🍏) The nice thing here is that if you don't have scroll-driven animations, the user still gets a good experience ✨ So how do you do it? There isn't much to it header { transform-origin: 50% 0%; animation: scale-down both ease-in; animation-timeline: view(); animation-range: exit; view-timeline: --header; } @​keyframes scale-down { to { scale: 0.8 0.8; } } That's it. The layout makes use of position: sticky so that the element stays in the shot whilst you scroll the page. As it leaves the page, it scales down inside the 🫶 The other smol animation here is fading the overlay on the video out 😎 Real easy. CSS Tip! ✨ It's 2024 and you have a new way to make animated borders 🚀 .glow::after { offset-path: rect(0 100% 100% 0 round var(--radius)); animation: loop; } @​keyframes loop { to { offset-distance: 100%; }} Using the offset-* properties you can animate elements along the perimeter of others 😍 The rect() value gained support in Safari 17.2 🙌 To start, you create an element and put it inside your main element. For example, you put a span inside the button 🤙 Click me! Make the element fill its parent with absolute positioning and inset [data-glow] { position: absolute; inset: 0; } Now the good part, you use a pseudoelement on that element and define an offset-path [data-glow]::after { content: ""; offset-path: rect(0 auto auto 0 round var(--radius)); animation: loop 2.6s infinite linear; } With the rect value, you are saying the path fills the parent container: top: 0 right: auto || 100% bottom: auto || 100% left: 0 Then you can use round to make sure the path uses the same radius as whatever the parent has The @​keyframes animation merely animates the offset-distance of that pseudoelement to 100% @​keyframes loop { to { offset-distance: 100%; }} You can see this more clearly in the video 🫶 The offset-* properties also include an offset-anchor property. This allows you to dictate which point of the element follows the path. 007/100 Buttons. This button was way more complex than I first thought. I love the page transition on the Truus site that Dennis Snellenberg and Jordan Gilroy worked on. So I wanted to use that drawing SVG Path idea somehow and fit it into a button. In best case with a mask effect. The idea was to have an SVG path in the background that fills the button. At the same time, this path should also be used as a mask to reveal the differently colored text. The SVG should also be replaceable and work with other SVGs. For the path animation, I can use the DrawSVGPlugin from GSAP. Sounds like a solid plan. I built the button so far, and it worked great in Chrome and Firefox. In Safari, nope. I used an SVG mask that I referenced through CSS. But Safari can’t handle that properly when the path inside the mask is animated, so the animation lags. There was no simple solution for that. At least I didn’t find something. So I had to rebuild the button in another way. What I found was that the SVG mask animation works in Safari when the mask is placed on the desired element inside the SVG. That’s where foreignObject comes in, it allows you to use normal HTML elements inside an SVG. Using that, I rebuilt the hover text inside the SVG. I then referenced the mask on the foreignObject with a bit of JavaScript. And it worked! The button’s structure looks more complicated than I wanted it to be, but that happens quite often when you need to make something work across different browsers 😃 Crafting 100 Buttons with Osmo ⏳ Total time: 96h

CSS Tip! 🍬 You can create a CSS-only sticky CTA using position: sticky or scroll-driven animations 🤙 .cta { position: sticky; margin-top: 110vh; bottom: 2rem; /* 👈 Stick! */ } This is one way 👀 This first way relies on you setting a layout on the body and putting the CTA in a zero-space part of the layout body { display: grid; grid-template-columns: auto 0; } The children of the body are an element with your content and then the CTA. You could also use display:flex too. .content { flex: 1 0 100%; } .cta { place-self: end; } As you scroll the body, the CTA comes into view and sticks in position 🙌 That's one way. If you want to take it further and do something like flip between showing or not, maybe scale it up, or add some special easing, etc. an animation is another way 📜 First, change the styles for your CTA. Note the translate property that's powered by a custom property .cta { position: fixed; bottom: 2rem; right: 2rem; translate: 0 calc(20vh - (var(--show) * 20vh)); transition: translate 0.875s var(--elastic); } Next you need a custom property that you're going to animate @​property --show { inherits: true; initial-value: 0; syntax: ' '; } Lastly, you animate this value on the body. As the property value changes, the value will trickle down to the CTA @​supports (animation-timeline: scroll()) { body { animation: show-cta both steps(1); animation-timeline: scroll(root); animation-range: 0 10vh; } @​keyframes show-cta { to { --show: 1; } } } Using @​supports you can use this as a progressive enhancement. CSS Trick! ⚡️ You can use scroll-driven animation with background-attachment to create a dynamic glowing card scroller without JS 🔥 section { animation:vibe; animation-timeline:--list; } @​keyframes vibe { to{--hue:320;}} .glow {background: hsl(var(--hue) 80% 50%);} Here's how! 🤙 You can use the background-attachment trick used in other glow card demos 😎 article { background-attachment: fixed; } The difference here is that you aren't going to update the fixed background position with your pointer this time. It can remain fixed. The magic part is that as you scroll, the background will leave the card that's leaving and enter the card that's entering ✨ For the extra background glow, you can use a fixed pseudo element on the list container itself 💪 Once that's in place, you're only task is to change the color of the background as you scroll 🤔 Create a custom property declaration for the --hue @​property --base { inherits: true; syntax: ' '; initial-value: 0; } Then create an animation that updates this value @​keyframes accent { to { --hue: 320; }} The last piece is hooking it up to scroll and there is a little trick in here 👀 First, you need an inline scroll-timeline on the list ul { scroll-timeline: --list inline; } Then you can use timeline-scope to hoist that scroll-timeline up so a parent can use it. You then animate the custom property on this element and let the value cascade down to the places that need it 🔥 section { timeline-scope: --list; animation: accent both linear; animation-timeline: --list; } For example, the glow uses the --hue this way [data-glow] { background-image: radial-gradient( 150px 150px at 50% 50%, hsl(var(--hue) 100% 70% / 0.25), transparent ); } Lastly, scroll-snap is optional of course but plays nice with the scroll-driven animation demos ✨ The key for that is ul { scroll-snap-type: x mandatory; } li { scroll-snap-align: center; } That's it! CSS Tip! ✨ You can create these parallax effects and image cross-fades with scroll-driven animations 🤙 img { animation: fade; animation-timeline: view(); mix-blend-mode: plus-lighter } img:last-of-type { animation-direction: reverse; } @​keyframes fade { to { opacity: 0; }} This one's fun! 😁 The trick with the cross-fading image is to make use of one animation that runs at the same time on two images inside a container. You use the same animation, animation-timeline, and animation-range. But, you use animation-direction: reverse on one of the images so they go in the opposite direction 🫶 The use of mix-blend-mode: plus-lighter; produces a better cross-fade result 💯 A viewTimeline (view()) works because you know that both images are the same height. The range you can use is img { animation-timeline: view(); animation-range: cover 45% cover 55%; } That means when the image has covered 45% of the scrollport (In this case, the window), start the animation. And finish when it has covered 55% 🎬 How about the slight parallax? This is a trick with calc(). You know the top of the small image and the big image line up. And you can do this by absolutely placing the caption outside of the small image. The trick is to translate the small image by a distance so it lines up with the bottom of the big image. You can do that like this :root { --catch-up: calc( var(--big-height) - var(--small-height) ); } @​keyframes move { to { translate: 0 var(--catch-up); }} Then drive that animation with a scroll-driven animation using the container of both images as the driver 🤙 /* section contains both images */ section { view-timeline: --container; } .img-fader { animation: catch-up both linear; animation-timeline: --container; animation-range: 50vh calc(100vh + (var(--big-height) * 0.25)); } That's it! CSS Trick! 🤙 You can create gradient borders on translucent elements using mask-clip and mask-composite with a pseudo-element 🔥 .gradient-border::after { mask-clip: padding-box, border-box; mask-composite: intersect; mask: linear-gradient(transparent, transparent), linear-gradient(white, white); } It's the same "Transparent border trick" from before. But, now you apply it to a pseudo-element 😎 The trick is to create a pseudo-element with a gradient background and then mask it so we only see the part we want, the border ✨ mask-clip defines the area affected by a mask. Similar to how you can define background-size. Using padding-box and border-box constrains the two masks. mask-composite is the magic part ✨ It defines a compositing operation for stacked mask layers. Using intersect means that the parts that overlap get replaced. And this seems to work in all browsers 🙌 As for the rest of the styles... – Make sure you set pointer-events: none on the pseudo-element – Make sure it fills the parent element. You can use position: absolute and inset: 0 – Make sure the background fills the space including the border-width. You can use calc to achieve that: --bg-size: calc(100% + (2px * var(--border))); background: var(--gradient) center center / var(--bg-size) var(--bg-size); That's it! 🚀 Gradient borders on translucent elements.
