Only me having trouble to enable it on latest CLI version? I keep getting “[ERROR] [IDEClient] Failed to connect…” and I tried everything from the blog post - from successful install, run and try again…

You're about 2 years late compared to Anthropic. I wouldn't use Gemini even if I was paid to do so. Claude Sonnet is just too far ahead.
