Awe @GenPadalecki ...the milestone years are the toughest. 6th grade was a big year. This year my youngest is a Freshman and my oldest is a Senior. My Momma heart is struggling. There have been plenty of tears already this year.

Being a Mom is hard. Never know if you're doing it right. But the more you worry about it the better you probably are at it. My kids are now grown, and they survived. Turned into interesting and amazing people - despite everything.

My son started 7th grade this year and I felt the same way. Love ya Gen! You are a great mom!

It's not stupid; it's human. If you didn't care, you wouldn't be doing a good job. The world needs emotions and caring. I'm a mum of two and every year I feel like that at the beginning of school year. It's another little step to their future and another step we get to see. 😘

Gen If you weren't worried I'd be worried moms that care and are still able to let them go to have experiences are best moms.

Cry if you want. Kids’ milestones hit different parents differently. I was always the celebratory type. Each milestone was a new adventure for them, not a loss for me. Cried like a damn baby when they got married.

@GenPadalecki I'm not a parent but you're not stupid for crying because your oldest just started middle school as long as you know you done everything to raise such an awesome human who will def grow up to being an awesome adult one day.

I always hated when my boys went back to school...we loved spending time with them and Summer was always so much fun, vacations and swimming and fairs and birthday parties....and fun.....I understand, wait till they go to college!
