What’s really going on here is the US government is serving the interests of capital as this multi-billion-dollar deal establishes a framework for American corporations and billionaires to get rich off developing Saudi Arabia’s nuclear infrastructure. So why can Saudi Arabia (and Israel) have nukes but Iran can’t? Because Iran is one of the only countries in the region that actually resists US imperialism and Israeli genocide.
