Gene Hackman in The Birdcage. Absolutely brilliant.

Whenever I flip by The Birdcage, I always have to stop and watch the whole thing. Everyone was perfect, and the sets were beautiful.

I just recently watched the entire movie, was brilliant all around. Shame on me. Gene definitely stood out, he just had that presence. 😪

Love this so much. I remember reading an article years ago that Mike Nichols had to be silenced because of his laughter and the actors were punch drunk because they were all laughing so hard during this scene. (I wish I could find that article)
