The company plans to invest 20 million euros in the coming year to significantly expand its capabilities for the production and maintenance of military bridge systems, including M3 amphibious vehicles, as well as general armored vehicle production. A key part of the project will be the re-equipment of a workshop at the former Opel car manufacturer plant in Kaiserslautern, where production of pontoon bridges for river crossings will be established on an area of more than 10,000 square meters. These investments are intended to double the production capacity of the M3 amphibious vehicles, which are already recognized as a NATO standard and are in demand in Europe. 🚀🇺🇸 The US Army has signed a contract with General Atomics to develop a 155-mm extended-range projectile The company General Atomics Electromagnetic Systems (GA-EMS) has received a contract to develop the XM1155 155-mm extended-range projectile as part of the Enhanced Range Artillery Project (ERAP). The General Atomics projectile, during tests in August 2025 in Yuma, Arizona, hit targets at a distance of 120 km after being fired from an M777 howitzer.
