Genesis - In The Cage / In That Quiet Earth / Afterglow

I saw them last year, and they're still incredible, but it was heartbreaking to see Phil Collins struggle with the stairs to the stage and perform seated. Hearing them perform Home By The Sea in full was worth the ticket price.

When music was really Great....

Phil was an absolute master player. 🥁 And front man, of course. But this, and the Wembley gig of the same tour are such a treat to watch&hear. Thanks so much for posting this.

Great performance but this concert vid was so over-edited it was exhausting 😆 the camera shifts every 3 seconds. Give us. A few moments to actually enjoy seeing the guys perform.

I have a fond memory of seeing Genesis perform In The Cage from the 3rd row. I played air synth during the ARP solo and Tony gave me his patented Death Stare. He didn't know I could play it note for note. 😎

Any In The Cage medley plus Afterglow is live rock and roll genius. This is how we should remember Phil, Tony, Mike, Chester and Daryl, performing at their legendary finest.

It’s a shame that from the late 80’s they only did medleys of the 70’s stuff.
