As someone who works in a job that deals with said “white wood” pallets, the first sneeze someone lets out is going to destroy that entire thing.

Looks cool but it will rot out in year or two. He should have painted on the protective coating before he assembled the flooring as most of the moisture damage will be done from under the pattio. Especially since the wood quality is very poor for most pallets.

This is so useless. You cannot stand on pallets, it breaks the wood. Notice how he only stands on very specific planks, those are the weight bearing ones. The rest needs the weight to be spread evenly. If you walked on this gazebo you would fall through expecting it to be safe.
