That’s stupid. If you use a metal whisk to clean rice, the rice grains break. Soft washing in cold water by hand is essential for perfect rice.

So much water being wasted! We reuse water used for rinsing produce for the plants.

Two washes is too much. Removes the flavor. Yes it may be a slight bit more sticky, but the flavor will still be there.

Why in the world you would run water like this?

My mom would have beaten me if i did what you are doing. 1. Water is running constantly. 2. You will crush/break the rice. 3. Rice water and be used in so many places but yiu are throwing it away. 4. Too many bowels. 5. Final water used for cook should not be tap.

You can just dump it straight into a pot of boiling water and simmer for 12 minutes until it’s done. All of this rice science is bullshit! A farce!
