Cant color match out of a can. Plus it will stand I out like a sore thumb cause its not properly blended to the rest of the fender. Maybe encapsulating thr rusted area might slow the progress, but it'll come back.

I've done bondo repairs and this has way too many steps. Cut out the rust, use a rust killer like Naval Jelly, fill with newspaper, bondo, rasp file too shape, sand smooth, primer sand smooth, primer, paint
