When i was about 20, I had all the important steps from the handbook committed to memory, and could install gentoo without any sort of connection. Now im 39 and i use MINT because "im too old for this shit" now 😁

Ahhh, I remember recompiling the whole system after playing with USE flags to get some barely visible boost. I miss having so much free time 😭😭😭

I've been using Linux in various forms for almost 30 years now, & I remember having to do terminal installs, make boot floppies, & then praying to GOD everything worked(It usually didn't), & while I could do it, I just don't have the patience these days for something like Gentoo.

Ain't got time for Gentoo. Fedora for me is the perfect middle ground.
