This is grant park on the new section of the beltline. The property on the right is owned by a person. The property on the left is public housing/section 8 with fixed rent caps. When everyone owns something, no one does.

You can drive a mile of suburbs and then cross a major streets and be on the same street driving down to the hood, all in a span of a 1.5 miles. Atlanta isn’t the only city like this but it’s a major city you can see hood and projects across the street from newly built 600k homes

we need to reclaim our cities from the ghettos. Crime and low income are a plague to our big cities.

Oh no, somebody who earned their shit living, God forbid...😒 Guess you would rather them be on welfare, living in a delapitated building like the rest of those freeloaders?

Leave it to black peoples to literally screw things up. Crime, housing, shopping, etc. when you see a wings/fish place open in an old Burger King you know it’s time to move.

Sorry that is not "gentrification". I could walk around almost anywhere and find a nice property on one side of a sidewalk and a scummy property on the other side. This channel just gets more idiotic by the day...

Good kick them out to near the airport. Crime is the only thing that comes from section 8

Don't cry over the swing. Certain folks living there will walk over the hill and rob the rich folks for enough money to replace it, if they don't go to the Lennox mall and buy some Gucci clothes with the cash instead. You know it's going to happen sooner or later, right?

Put the camera down and fix the swing. Home Depot is your friend.

Black people don't take care of their shit. They break everything they see.

It is sad that no adults in that neighborhood will fix that swing.

Atlanta wasn’t always a shithole. I love the place for exactly what it is but let’s be honest here.

if you don’t want a gentrified neighborhood, what do you propose to do about the poor people on the first side of the BeltLine? they have to live somewhere.

White flight or gentrification. We’re just wanting to avoid you or hopefully send you back to Africa to invent everything and be Kings again.

Yeah the other building may look nice but it's still a shithole

Alternative headline: “owner of duplex community doesn’t want to invest in playground improvements, while neighboring property does”

White liberals are the reason, all they do is virtue signal.

Looks like we need more gentrification then, since the ghetto blacks can’t keep anything nice.

The beltline is used to connect neighborhoods together, so yes, you’re gonna see upper class next to low income neighborhoods merged together . The current mayor has a task for putting affordable housing across the region even in the upper class area.

Problems exist everywhere in the world. Instead let’s find a way get people together to fix that swing and beautify the playground with some flowers. Drop an address and good people will come around to make things right. A community starts with one persons good actions.

Gentrify the whole city. If it kicks out poor blacks while we do so, then gentrify more.
