There is literally zero storytelling. I have yet to see anything outside of WWE that made me think oh wow I have to watch that. These marks can rip WWE all they want, but there’s nothing out there other than that, that tells a story consistently and has physicality and compelling long form storytelling. This is just choreographed crap. It’s like watching the flying Wallendas.

Absolutely fuck all selling, does my head in. As much as I love what AEW has done for the business, its making the "fake" seem more and more fake. Psychology is more important than seeing how many gymnastics moves we can fit in a 10 minute match.

I will admit, I enjoyed more of these ‘spots’ when I was younger but now that I’m older I agree, it’s just a bunch of ‘no selling’ spots. My bigger nitpick however is that finishers are no longer protected.
