It occurred to me that I’d have to post this at some point: I’m straight I’m not on any dating sites. I’m on Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and here. There’s a link here to the buy me coffee, which I thought would just be fun. I am never going to ask you for any money. I suspect that my photos videos are being used on some other sites, but that’s not me. Yesterday I blocked a couple of accounts because they made a comment that I had I profiles on dating site, which I don’t and it’s easier just to block people instead of deleting comments because I don’t know how to do that. So remember that when you’re making comments. I actually enjoy blocking people because I feel like there’s one less person I’ll ever have to deal with.

Today I’m working on a painting of my mother sleeping the last part of her life away. Randomly her favourite folk song comes up on my music while I’m painting. Then a butterfly flies into my studio. I have to take a moment because I’ve just realised fully that this is my way of saying goodbye. I’m painting my goodbye to a woman who can’t see anymore and for the first time I shed a tear or two. We are all so bloody fragile aren’t we?
