Appropriate response to a rain event mid pour is ti be prepped with tarps and plastic sheeting. Start tarping the oldest of the pour and have guys hold up plastic sheeting over the active pour area as it gets worked. Done this many a times in torrential rains

Concrete doesn’t dry, it cures. It’s a chemical reaction that requires water. Some concrete is actually cured with wet blankets. There’s usually an allowable limit of water that can be added to the truck for workability. The subgrade compaction is usually more of a problem in the rain. It looks like they’re mostly done placing though. You might need to keep placing because concrete has about an hour life in the truck so they’ll need to get those trucks emptied. If there’s remaining areas that need to be placed on another day they might need to demo back to the closest saw cut line and install dowels to make cold joint. All of this depends on the specific conditions, contracts, plans, and specifications.

Well. First off you don't pour just because you're scheduled to and it will be inconvenient to not pour. Look at the weather and if rain is in the forecast you better have some monstrous tarps, or cancel your pour before it's mixed.
