This brings back memories growing up. I don't think there is any household that didn't have a Kerosene Lantern. It was standard in every household. You'd have to wash the glass every night before use. That way the light shone very well. 🤣

The beating wey I chop for this life for breaking lantern glasses ehn. 🤦♂️

If you used this, your children don supposed to reach 3

How time flies just like yesterday I had this experience. God thank you for this opportunity to be alive.

If you Kon break that glass The kind beating wey you go chop ehn😂

People still use this in rural areas and remote villages, though it's minimal now. So there are still Gen-Z that can relate. But, Omo we're getting old, tf! 😭😭

Doing this was a skill in those days… E get as you go do am you go become favorite of the house If satan punish you the glass break… Legends can relate 😂😂

Many times it can be very difficult to put that thread in the wick 😔

This reminds me of that night in 2008 when I poured kerosene into the lamp and struck the matchstick. The next minute I was running around looking for water to quench the fire that was already burning the trouser I was wearing. I still have the scar.

If you break this glass in an African home, you’re finished 😩😩😩
