This brings back memories growing up. I don't think there is any household that didn't have a Kerosene Lantern. It was standard in every household. You'd have to wash the glass every night before use. That way the light shone very well. 🤣

People still use this in rural areas and remote villages, though it's minimal now. So there are still Gen-Z that can relate. But, Omo we're getting old, tf! 😭😭

This reminds me of that night in 2008 when I poured kerosene into the lamp and struck the matchstick. The next minute I was running around looking for water to quench the fire that was already burning the trouser I was wearing. I still have the scar.
