Geoffrey Rush understood that Barbossa couldn’t just be another pirate villain. He plays him like a man putting on a show for everyone in the room. Half the fun of these movies is watching Barbossa enjoy being Barbossa.

This is such a great movie. it was such a fun concept and executed so well. We don't get new original movies like this anymore ( I know it was based on a ride, but the ride was nothing like this at the time)

Isn't that just the acting style employed in hammy action-adventures? The Pixarian Technique. Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Die Hard, etc.

Geoffrey Rush as Barbossa is the secret weapon of Pirates of the Caribbean. He plays it like a classical villain dropped into a blockbuster, savoring every line.

"Here's another perspective. He (Brendan Sorsby) is being made the villain in this situation. Maybe we shouldn't be in a rush to make him the villain. He's only 21 years old." 🏈LaVar Leap Arrington and Jonas Knox discuss the other side of the Brendan Sorsby gambling situation.

“Buying a car for my boyfriend because he got me a car will feel like a competition. Let him show that he is a man, while i enjoy being a baby girl. At the end of the day, what a man truly needs is love and respect.” — Jarvis says.

Mike Greenberg says SGA fans call you a HATER when you point out that the way he plays is NOT enjoyable to watch: “Sometimes watching him play is AGONIZING. It is not fun… You have to understand that FOR THE REST OF US, watching this style of play is NOT like watching Steph, it’s NOT like watching Michael Jordan. It’s just not. We’re watching to be entertained.”

Wanda will never be a villain in my opinion. The Universe just kept serving her the worst of plates until she couldn’t take it anymore. Monica was the only real person that understood her pain.

A 16-year-old shares what she eats in a day. Are we supposed to just pretend like this is normal & fine and these eating habits aren’t putting a strain on our healthcare system & affecting the future of our country? Is it fatphobic to remind everyone that half of the US is obese?

Female comedian has a meltdown after a man in the audience heckled her in Washington D.C. He won. Comedian Natalie Cuomo was seen screaming at a man and accused him of putting "negative energy out there." The man and Cuomo were conversing when he called her out for "making it sound like we're a couple" with the individual next to him. Cuomo then tried trolling the man as being "gay" which prompted him to say that he could roast her too. "There's so many people that came together to be supportive and f*cking amazing, and you're putting negative..." "No! Look me in the eyes! You're putting negative f*cking energy out here! This is the last show of my f*cking... look me in the f*cking eyes... look at me!" she screamed.

Watching Liam Neeson in THE NAKED GUN (2025) is half the fun because he commits to the absurdity so completely. After decades of playing intense men, seeing him lean into silliness feels like he’s finally cashing in on a joke he’s been setting up for years.

🚨 Tristan Tate on being accused of talking like a man from another century. "Maybe I am a type of traveler from the 1800s. Maybe that's why I'm building a vampire castle." He does not talk like everyone else, dress like everyone else, or live like everyone else, and that is the entire point. The men who refuse to blend in are the only ones anyone ends up remembering.

I've been rewatching all of the MCU movies that Spider-Man is in, and something I noticed watching them all back-to-back is that half of them end with a censored F-bomb for some reason.

Michael Douglas asking, “I am the bad guy?” hits always hard. In Falling Down (1993), he plays a man who snaps under the weight of everyday injustice It raises a haunting idea. Sometimes there isn’t villain, just another person lost in the game of life.
