We've gone through mean periods before.' It fortifies you to say, 'Yes, this has been part of the journey that we're on,' and there's no reason to suggest that we can't get through this one."

I'm going to upset a few people with this one... The climate is changing. It always has! But I don't believe we're facing a man-made climate crisis. I believe we're being sold one. Earth has gone through ice ages, warm periods and times with no polar ice caps long before humans were driving cars. CO₂ makes up around 0.04% of our atmosphere, and the UK's contribution to global emissions is tiny. Should we stop polluting? Absolutely. Should we be handing governments more power, more taxes and more control over our lives in the name of "saving the planet"? Absolutely not. Watch the video before you tell me I'm wrong.

The shells date to two past warm periods: the last interglacial (about 127,000 to 115,000 years ago), and the Holocene (which began around 11,700 years ago).
