#geometrynodes #simulationnodes Another one of these. Tried to copy Mārtiņš Upītis 🇱🇻 🇺🇦 flow thingie to control the particles but ended up doing somewhat similar solution as Nugget 🏳️‍🌈 had on the ripples effect, except with vectors. #b3d

thanks for the feedback and ideas everyboody. Now the water lilies have limits and return to their position as they would. The algae moves freely and bubbles/whitewater particles similarly. #b3d #simulationnodes #geometrynodes

@_martinsh @HotdogNugget Really nice result already, Jesse. I like the effect of silt being stirred up under the surface of the water, too- that's a nice touch :)

@_martinsh @HotdogNugget Would be nice if particle would gently goes back to their original pos, as if they were attack to the floor's lake.

@_martinsh @HotdogNugget What's the performance like of the Simulation Nodes, compared to Flip Fluids?

@_martinsh @HotdogNugget Does that mean that your solution now supports vector displacement?

no and yes, only the math is done within vectors. For displacement after the simulation I mainly just use the Z vector of the outcome and juuust a hint of X n Y.
