George Benson is pure class.

From the 2000 Absolutely Live performance in Belfast. This tune is entitled "Deeper Than You Think," written by Joe Sample, who's performing alongside GB.

George has hit records in several different categories, Jazz, R & B, Pop, Rock, he’s a household name in everywhere in the world. He’s the one guitarist everyone tries to play like, but nobody can. Most importantly, he’s a beautiful person, totally genuine.

Pittsburgh has relatively few musicians of national note. This guy balances out the scales

Great purveyor of Pop Soul but an utterly sublime jazz guitarist 🎸

Total groove!

Fantastical guitar player, singer and roller skater!

I love George Benson

You damn right. ♥

@theLorenzozen

Phenomenal talent. I've been listening to George for over 50 years! LOVE everything and all the different directions he rolls.

George Benson on guitar, Joe Sample on piano. I saw Joe Sample in concert with my first husband.

King George 👑

he was inspired by Wes Montgomery
