George’s death really affected Sheldon 😥😥

If his dad was a drunk lunatic who shoots the TV then who the fuck is this guy?

This is what was good about young Sheldon. We know at the end of the show it was Sheldons memoirs. That it was him remembering the good stuff instead of just focusing on the bad stuff. Nearing the ending of Big bang theory was when Sheldon started to remember the good things.

He is an amazing actor 🔥🔥

The episode where George died was such an ‘ordinary’ episode that I didn’t see it coming at all and it hit all the harder for it as did the subsequent ones covering the aftermath of that. I am glad I watched Young Sheldon, great series & so well acted, especially the youngsters!

My best ever series, I literally watch it every day before I sleep. I❤️

Lost my Dad at 14, over 45 years on, I still miss him. Funny how these shows hit a nerve now and again, but I guess it's life.

Truly shows how much of a good dad George was to Sheldon and how much Sheldon loved him, plus even tho Sheldon never really changed much; he carried on his dad’s will when he was there for Wallowitz when he lost his mother

There is a complete mismatch and misrepresentation of George in bigbangtheory. I saw a loving and extraordinary father that made tremendous sacrifices for his family in young Sheldon

Sheldons dad didn't die of a heart attack. He was shot by US Marshal Raylan Givens. The heart attack was just a cover

It’s a shame we didn’t actually see that scene of George Senior shooting the TV screen

It's was very difficult for him

Tragically sad, but its also a very strong lore for him, because how impactful it is for the audience to empathize
