Does that seem morally right? That's messed up. People should get off their goddamn moral high horse with the work from home bullshit. Asked Jordi Fernandez whether Egor Demin's dip in production is related to him playing more off the ball alongside Nolan Traore: "When Egor didn't play with Nolan, he played with Terrence, who brought the ball up a lot, and Egor was playing off the ball. With Nolan now, the way he's impacted the game and played pick and roll and his pace, has that affected Egor? Maybe... But Egor's a great shooter. He can play off the ball. He can play second side and get the ball. He had nine assists the other day. So it's about always finding a way. And obviously, he has to do it, and I have to help him get there. But I'm very happy with where both of them are, and both sharing the floor is a positive."

It's less adversity to be average in the world. The consequences of being average aren't easy. We end up wearing them. There's strain and struggle that comes with that too. The standard is just lower to be an average team. To be a championship team, to be champion, to be a championship team member here . . . I'm not gonna lie to you . . . I'm going to tell you the truth. It is harder. It is. The question is: Is it worth it? Some people say, "Oh it's not harder work." Yes it is. It's harder work. You can pursue comfort or you can pursue excellence. If we pursue comfort, we gotta give up some excellence. But if we pursue excellence, then we're just going to face more adversity. Everyone who's ever accomplished something excellence has had to overcome it. We are here today for a reason. Two reasons actually. Reason #1 is let's make sure that we identify and realize the opportunities that are in front of us. Reason #2 is let's make sure that we are preparing for the adversity that those opportunities require. And just understand: every single time you lever up your opportunities and you identify, "Oh there's something more I can do, more I can achieve. I can get better. I can earn more. I can do this." It's going to be matched with the adversity that comes with it. I want to make sure we are prepared for both of those, so that we're not chasing big opportunities and then getting mad when things start getting harder along the way. Is that fair? Viktor Hovland made 8 birdies to close with a 5 under par 67 at the Masters. After the round, he went deep on the ball flight laws and the importance of matching up the club face to the swing path: “It's a good question. It's just tough to answer. First of all, that's why I like TrackMan and understanding the ball flight laws are very good to have because you can start a ball left, more left than you would like, but if it's curving back, who cares. That just means you're -- granted, if you're hitting it in the center your club path is just maybe creeping a bit more left, but if your face is in the right spot you're just hitting a bigger curve and then you can adjust that accordingly. “If you're starting the ball left and it's going left, is it a face issue, are you striking it off the heel and they're not coming back? There's a lot of minutiae involved with that. “If it's just a face-to-path issue or a club path direction, you can solve that pretty easily by playing a bigger cut or playing a bigger draw or moving it a bit more forward or back in the stance, simple stuff like that.” This is a great explanation that a lot of amateurs can learn from.
