Geothermal heating and cooling for modest sized structures is a game changer. The temperate differential between surface and a few feet down is just pure energy

Yeah, nice, but they’re most likely going to have problems with mold and condensation.

Where? Recommendations?

Proper drainage. The pipes need a continuous slope with drainage points at the lowest spots so condensation can drain into the ground instead of pooling inside. Also access points for cleaning and ideally filters at the air intake.

Yeah we have continuous slope and drainage

I watched this last year and haven't stopped thinking about it. Pretty sure the entire HVAC industry is a scam.

Geothermal is from volcanoes I think we call this Ground Sourced Heat Exchange if only the "Green" movement wasn't infected by the control agenda/digital prison brainwashing we would all have Hempcrete breathable healthy buildings using passive solar & natural heating like this

The Amish have perfected this.

DIY geothermal is under rated and cheap. We did this under my greenhouse, we buried air pipes and pex water loops so I can heat up the soil all summer and extract heat all winter just by running a 40 watt pump and fan. now I'm growing citrus in upstate NY

Thats how you do datacenters correctly

True. But you have to pay for it, and a typical hvac unit is way cheaper. Typically a homeowner will not be in their house long enough to reap the savings a geothermal system will bring

This technology is not without its drawbacks. I switched to geo thermal to take advantage of this “pure energy” only to find a significant increase in my electricity bills. There were many electric pumps required to move the fluid in the ground source pipes.

Sometimes I stop and think about the wooly mammoths they found flash frozen with grass in their mouths.. like that sort of weather event would totally suck balls
