The conflict in Iran is about to be the least debated prolonged foreign war in American History. With this attack on Iran, the President ignored the will of the American people and still has not presented a coherent plan for the day after. I am voting for the bipartisan War Powers Resolution this week that mandates explanation and accountability from this Administration, debate and deliberation from Congress, and the consensus of the governed.

German Chancellor Merz on Iran War: The region must not slide into an eternal war with unclear goals. This war must be brought to an end with a clear plan, with a strategy. We are not participating in this war; we said that from day one. That remains the case for us. As long as the war continues, we will not participate in it with military means to ensure free navigation in the Strait of Hormuz. To this day, we are not aware of any concept as to how such an operation could succeed at all. The United States of America and Israel did not consult us before this war either. Regarding Iran, there has never been a joint decision on the 'whether.' Therefore, the question of how Germany will get involved militarily here does not arise. We will not do it.

I told them that I plan to personally present Ukraine’s plan for victory to President Biden and the presidential candidates from both the Republican and Democratic parties in the near future. We deeply appreciate the support of the President and the U.S. Congress from the very beginning of this war. We are grateful for the passage of a very important bill in Congress, and I hope that all this will be delivered to Ukraine as soon as possible to strengthen our army. 🇺🇦🇺🇸
