German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius on possible German nuclear bombs: We uphold the rules-based international order. We have signed the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and committed ourselves never to acquire nuclear weapons. And now we are saying, “Well, let’s see, maybe we somehow join the game after all.” Yes, there...

NORAH O'DONNELL: So why do we need to test our nuclear weapons? US PRESIDENT TRUMP: Well, because you have to see how they work, you know. You do have to, and the reason I'm saying testing is because Russia announced that they're gonna be doing a test. If you noticed, North Korea is testing constantly, other countries are testing. We're the only country that doesn't test, and I don't wanna be the only country that doesn't test. NORAH O'DONNELL: Are you saying that after more than 30 years, the United States is going to start detonating nuclear weapons? US PRESIDENT TRUMP: I'm saying that we're going to test nuclear weapons like other countries do, yes. NORAH O'DONNELL: But the only country that is testing nuclear weapons is North Korea. China and Russia are not... US PRESIDENT TRUMP: No, no. Russia is testing nuclear weapons. And China is testing them too. You just don't know about it. NORAH O'DONNELL: That would be certainly newsworthy. My understanding is that what Russia did recently was test essentially the delivery system for nuclear weapons. Essentially - missiles. Which we can do that, but not with nuclear warheads. US PRESIDENT TRUMP: Russia is testing and China is testing, but they don't talk about it, you know. We're an open society, we're different. We talk about it, we have to talk about it. Because otherwise you people gonna report. They don't have reporters that gonna be writing about it, we do.

☢️Trump will WALK AWAY from Iran War…but can Middle East nuclear proliferation be STOPPED? Afshin Rattansi: ‘How can the world disarm Israel of nuclear weapons then?’ Former Israeli Acting President Abraham Burg: ‘It’s not about disarming Israel, it’s about the entire region.’ Afshin: ‘Well, no one else has nuclear weapons, it’s just Israel that has them in this region. How can the world disarm them?’ Burg: ‘What started now does not end with this two-week ceasefire. There are so many genies out of the bottle now. And the motivation for nuclear power without America, because America under Trump will walk away like it ran away from so many other conflicts around the world in the last 20-some years, people will be motivated to have nuclear weapons. So there should be both a regional setting and global pressure to disable anybody who has nuclear capability, war nuclear capability, not to have it. Whatever guarantees are given to Iran, to the Saudis, to the Israelis, those guarantees should be very, very solid, very, very strong. But with one bottom line: the Middle East clean and clear of weapons of mass destruction. Can we have nuclear capabilities and nuclear reactors for energy? Yes. Should these nuclear energy centres be run together by Israelis and Saudis and Iranians and Egyptians and Emiratis? The answer is yes. The more cooperation we have on peacetime nuclear capability, the less threat we have with the warheads.’ Watch the full interview with Avraham Burg below in the replies👇

🇮🇷☢️| Imam Khamenei on Nuclear Weapons & 60% HEU “Today, we are at a high level in uranium enrichment. Of course, countries that want to build nuclear weapons raise enrichment to 90% purity. Since we have no need for weapons and have decided against nuclear arms, we have not gone that far. We raised enrichment to 60%, which is very high, a very good figure, and necessary for some of our domestic needs. We have managed to advance this far. Out of more than 200 countries in the world, only 10 have this capability, and the Islamic Republic of Iran is one of them. The other 9 countries all possess nuclear bombs. We are the only one without a nuclear weapon — and we will not have one, since we do not intend to use nuclear weapons. But we do have enrichment and will keep using it. Among these 10 countries, we are considered one of the leaders in this industry. And, as I said, the scientists who laid the foundation for this work not only advanced it greatly but, more importantly, trained many people in this field. Today, in our country there are dozens of distinguished scientists and professors — this is a verified and reliable report given to us by those directly involved — as well as hundreds of researchers and thousands trained in nuclear-related fields who are active right now. Now, they (the enemy) have bombed such and such facilities. That’s an issue. But knowledge cannot be destroyed. Knowledge cannot be wiped out with bombs, threats, or such things. It remains forever.

Mohammad Larijani: TLDR: Iran Will Cease Operational NPT Obligations Until Grossi Is Removed Our operational obligations under the NPT (Non-Proliferation Treaty) must be suspended until the Grossi issue is resolved. We don't have a "nuclear case" at all. Look, what does a nuclear case even mean? It means that some people have made accusations against us, and now we are trying to get those accusations dropped. Well, that could have been settled through negotiations. But now that they have used military mechanisms, we don't have a case anymore. We don't have a case anymore. They ask, "What are you doing with your nuclear program?" We are implementing our internal policy. Enrichment? It is none of your business whether we enrich or not. Our policy on our nuclear capabilities is our own. We work with our partners to develop cooperation - with Russia on building new reactors, with China on other issues, and with other friends. We will not talk to anyone about our internal policy related to nuclear energy or anything else. Our main case is closed. This is a very important point: there will be no negotiations. Yes, perhaps at some point the UN Secretary General will say: "What needs to be done to return to operational commitments under the NPT?" Very simple - remove this traitor (Grossi), put him on trial and bring in someone who adheres to the framework of commitments. Then we will return to the NPT operationally. We accept its framework.
