During the meeting, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova criticized the publications of the German Embassy in Moscow, claiming they touch on "painful issues" for the Russian population. The summons was prompted by a widely viewed video from the Embassy about the fuel crisis in Russia caused by Russia's military aggression against Ukraine. The video calls on Russia to end the war, reflecting the well-known position of the German government and a demand for Russia repeatedly made by Germany and the EU. Attempts to obstruct the publication of the Embassy's materials, the content of which is factual, will be futile. The Embassy will continue to advocate for an end to the monstrous, aggressive war against Ukraine and to report on its consequences." Thank you, Germany, for standing with Ukraine! 🇩🇪🇺🇦

It's funny how Republicans all claim to be anti-war, until President Biden decides not to escalate things. Then they all decide that we should be aggressive. Republicans don't know what they want other than whatever it is that Democrats aren't doing.
