Chile was a better answer. They’re an actual pepper and a staple in Mexican food. Chipotle is not a distinct type of pepper. It’s a smoked jalapeño.

A Chipotle isn't a variety of pepper. It's a Jalapeno, Chipotle just means dried and smoked.. Referring specifically to fully ripe jalapenos, which are red. If their dried and smoke while green they are young peppers so they call those chico chili's.. or sometimes meco chili because of the color.. Now here's the plot twist, a Jalapeno is a chili, and a chili is not a pepper. In fact nothing that you buy in the produce section today name pepper is a pepper at all. Unless you buy peppercorns.. those are from a pepper vine.. but you'll never see those in the produce section.. Capsicum berry is the genus all of them belong to (not peppercorns) and the spicy ones are in a subcategory chilies.. And in that category Chipotle isn't a type, it just refers to a dried and smoked ripe jalapeno.. Oh, and all of them are in the nightshade family, the other branch of nightshade includes tomatoes, potatoes and eggplants...

I thought it’s cayenne pepper

I thought chipotle was a restaurant 😭

I’d push the questioner in for being wrong. Potato is ultimately derived from native languages and arrived in English through Spanish. All pepper varieties are derived from the same common chile ancestor, and a chipotle is just a smoked pepper, not a type.

Chipotle isn't a type of pepper. Chipotle is a smoked jalapeño in adobo.

Obfuscating was also correct tho I would say even more correct in my opinion

obfuscation is not technically wrong

obfuscation was what i said first. encryption makes sense but his phrasing points towards obfuscation unless you explicitly say “in cybersecurity”

Obfuscation was acceptable for sure. Obfuscation can be reversible and is broad (think of obfuscating code by renaming variables to random numbers). Encryption is specific to cryptography and mathematically related keys. They don’t necessarily achieve the same thing either.

Chipotle is not a type of pepper. It’s the name for the flavoring you get when you smoke jalapeños.

It would be more entertaining if the scissors were ready to cut at anytime, and the way you know the answer is wrong is a cut string. Then after the cut give the correct answer.

Potatoes originate from Peru and Bolivia. I guessed it was Spanish based on that knowledge. Makes sense.

Bro is on the spectrum or something. His repetition and absolute recollection of long confusing questions, 10-15 seconds after they were asked is impressive. He’s like a computer, he just doesn’t have all the data yet.

Obfuscation is 100% “a” right answer and should’ve been honored. My Sec+, CASP, and CEH certs would likely agree.

Encryption should be correct

Are those the scissors they used to cut the thread of the living in Hercules??

This whole thing was stupid. He was right, potato does trace back to smaller indigenous languages and was adopted by Spaniards. Chipotle isn’t a pepper. Restricting unauthorized users on a computer system is permissions, not encryption.

Chipotle and Spanish were bs answers

It would be nice if they would actually get the questions and answers correct

Seems irresponsible to partake in this when you should be helping out with the Brady children

The word “potato” came from combining two Indigenous words, Quechua papa and Taíno batata. The Spanish adopted those words and blended them into patata, which eventually became “potato” in English speaking countries. So he was more than correct with his answer.

He’s like a young Mauricio from rhobh

Obfuscating is correct

it is obfuscation

Native Americans called Potatoes as Batata... When Portuguese brought it to India, it was called Batata in Western India... and still its Batata

Was it cayenne pepper?

Fucking gay

Encryption 😂

He looks like a 1970s Hollywood actor

Cajun I said

So boring

How did he fail the last one. That was so easy
