@MartinLewis Amongst other things, you wholeheartedly supported the Scamdemic furlough and three years of destroyed businesses, and stopping cash being used. What the fuck did you think would happen?

@MartinLewis My mum’s building insurance increased by 45% today, and my bills have more than doubled since 2019. This is a direct consequence of neoliberal policies, companies prioritising profit and greed at our expense. Many of them also receive subsidies while avoiding full tax payments!

Do you agree with Ilhan Omar's assertion that DOGE trying to cut govt spending and waste is a "constitutional crisis?"

@MartinLewis More like 40 years. Tory 80s privatisations are to blame

@MartinLewis Surely it was when Thatcher privatised everything.

@MartinLewis But when this country had the chance to change this by electing Jeremy Corbyn who would have renationalised the public utilities and given us free broadband, Lewis was hostile to Corbyn and never supported him. Yeah, bit late and very hypocritical getting angry now, Martin!

@MartinLewis Renationalise all our natural resources… ensure they are run under strict regulations but at least we should be able to reinvest these ridiculous sums of money back into the infrastructure and return the profits to the nation..then we can lower the cost’s to consumers.

@MartinLewis 25 years ago we were pretty much self sufficient on energy via North sea. Now, after current sanctions and net zero policies, we import the vast majority, and not the cheap stuff LNG from the USA. Plus all the hidden "green taxes" on your bills.

@MartinLewis Perhaps if our politicians had to pay more of their own bills........

@MartinLewis If people can't see for themselves without Martin having to spell it out , then shame on you ! It's obvious that every private company is ripping Bill payers off , no investment in reservoirs no investment in gas storage & nothing but excuses & lies as why our bills keep going up
