MY 2025 WRAP (I HAVE A SWEET OFFER AT THE END) I've been seeing the 2025 wraps of some folks since I came on X about 6 hours ago And I felt like my 2025 was a waste, nothing to show Not until I actually sat to reflect on my 2025 and some memories started playing back Turns out that the level I want to get to had blinded me from seeing how far I've come And soooooo here's my 2025 wrap: ★ I didn't start the year 'completely' broke, rather I was having a very heavy measure of anxiety and optimism that nearly made me depressed ★ Paid for more web3 knowledge; Nirvana: KOINOPHOBIA organised by Xeusthegreat (♟,♟) ★ Started taking memecoin trading more seriously. Did 114x on a single token under the mentorship of MrKrabb and I've been progressing since then ★ Erected a borehole in my home town, and also got a generator set for it making my family house the 1st with a private borehole ★ Lost my 1st romantic relationship out of my own ignorance ★ Spent money enough to get my first car on helping people. A thing of joy, 0 regrets ★ Got a small circle of people I could work and have fun with ★ Helped about 5 people make their first $1k at least ★ Found love again ❤️ ★ Furnished my apartment some more, upgraded my renewable energy and upgraded my workspace too Many to say but a few........ AND FOR 2026, MY GOALS ARE: ☆ Get closer to God. Reestablish my relationship with Him. ☆ Expand my horizon; move to a bigger apartment, read more self-improvement books, make more fruitful connections ☆ Build a successful lifelong business with my small circle ☆ Make $100k from memecoin trading ☆ Be of more value to family and friends and as many outsiders that my capacity can carry ☆ Build and attain greater heights with my lover ❤️ ☆ Start documenting my journey here on X The rest are classified! This reported breakthrough apparently used a dataset that’s open for researchers. It’s the work of Eddy Xu, a teenager who was one of the first to get in on the video training data gold rush. He dropped out of Columbia last year to launch Build AI, which has raised around $22 million so far. Build AI’s Egocentric-1M dataset reportedly includes 1 million hours of data recorded using the startup’s self-developed devices across factories in Southeast Asia. A lot of it is from India. Xu has said he’s moved his team to Bengaluru, dedicating $10 million to get data from Indian factories. India has become one of the prime locations for collecting this kind of data. While enrolled at Columbia Engineering, Xu went viral in January 2025 after showing Meta Ray-Ban smart glasseshe modified to cheat at chess. The student, then 17, connected the device’s camera to a chess engine that calculated the best move and relayed it in real-time. The tech reached a wider audience thanks to popular streamer and chess master Alex Botez publicly tested them. Before college, the Long Island-raised Xu won DECA’s global business championship and sold an edtech startup that reached more than 178,000 users in 90 days. He also launched a startup called Omega Robotics in middle school, raising about $120,000 to run an independent, coach-free competitive robotics team out of a basement. Xu and co-founder Jonathan Jia, who serves as CTO, moved to San Francisco to build the first recording devices with a small team. They quickly moved operations to Shenzhen to quickly iterate and scale production. Unfortunately he won't take the room for 5 days because as he puts it, it's not permanent and he believes he will be back on the streets afterwards as it's happened to him previously he tells me. I've tried my hardest to reassure him that I won't let that happen but he says he's been let down so many times before that he just doesn't believe it and is happy where he is until I can find him a permanent room in a shared house I've spoken with him long and hard over the last week and I've come to the conclusion based on everything he's told me and my research that he's not a British army veteran with a service number he talks of being a mercenary part of the 13 commandos part of the French foreign legion and has the cap badge on his hat. What I do know is he's a 59 year old man with health problems but no drug or alcohol problems that is living in a tent in wasteland. My level of support hasn't changed he shouldn't be in wasteland in a tent rotting away with no family no support in 2025 I'm going to try my hardest this week to secure a room in a shared house the 5 night stay at the guest house is non refundable but it is what it is I just wanted to make sure he woke up on his 60th birthday in a better place. We tried our hardest but it doesn't always work out how you planned it in your head. Wow. WOW. WOOOOOOOW. So um, that first Wildcard+Thousands stream was... *amazing* and also... a *lot* 😅 In the end, it was *exactly* what we were hoping for - a true stress test of ALL these systems coming together for the first time. We are SO grateful for the thousands of people who showed up today to play, attend, tune-in and help us PLAYTEST all this new stuff. We can't wait to see you all again at NEXT WEEK'S EX2 EVENT! So, now let's talk about how it went... Stuff that worked: - Our community SHOWED UP. Oh boy did you show up 😅. Our servers were straining under the load... which is good actually, in fact it's the whole point. Even more importantly, we have already received insanely valuable feedback, bug reports, stuff people loved/hated - and it's only been a few hours since the stream ended. I can't even explain to y'all how valuable this process is. Yes it's stressful, it reminds me of trying to keep Words With Friends online during that first insane year, but it's EXACTLY what we were hoping for (NEED) to turn this into the polished, top-notch game and streaming experience we are on a mission to deliver. I truly can't thank y'all enough, and hope to see you again when we run it all back again next week 🥹 - The stream itself stayed up and was mostly stable! Phew 😅. For context, ThousandsTV is not a twitch wrapper, it's a web3-native streaming tech stack built we built specifically to connect game, web/mobile, and blockchain together all at the same time. There are a LOT of moving pieces going on behind the scenes. - We brought viewers INTO THE GAME! Viewers showed up in the stands of the arena, with connected wallets/assets, triggered actions/rallies from chat, and were seen and heard during the whole stream. - The brand new 2v2 build of Wildcard was (mostly) stable and our players and viewers seemed to be having a blast down on the field and up in the stands. It was thrilling to watch Team Blue dominate, even though Team Red held their own in game 3! - Our production crew did an insanely good job running the stream, managing the players, shoutcasters, and talent, and producing a top-notch show. Of course we will work hard to make every stream better than the last, but I was super proud of how our team "rolled with the punches" during today's event. Stuff that didn't work (and/or needs to be dramatically improved): - Although it's fun to see chat going crazy, chat spam is actually something we are passionate to FIX. As you can see from the attached video, chat spam dominated today's stream and made it impossible for anyone to even see anyone else's messages. We have some GREAT ideas for how to fix this and actually turn chat spam into a FUN and exciting and not annoying thing - but those improvements didn't get shipped in time for this event. - Credits purchasing flow needs a LOT of work. As I'm sure y'all know, bringing money on chain is pretty complicated, and although we've been working hard to make this as seamless as possible, it still needs a TON of improvements. Many users who WANTED to spend money today weren't able to and/or ran into frustrating bugs in the credit purchase flow. Fixing this is obviously a top priority for our team. - Rallies need a LOT of work. Spectator-interactive features like rallies are at the heart of our vision for Wildcard. These "stream apps", as we call them, are the UNLOCK for how spectators, viewers and fans directly connect and interact with their favorite competitors, content creators, and communities. The current rally feature HINTS at this potential, but it needs to be WAY easier to understand, use, and have fun with. Improvements are ON THE WAY. - Referees were only partially working. Referees are a key innovation of the Thousands platform. They are AI-driven "personalities" (NPCs) that pay attention to everything that's happening in the arena, both on the field and especially in the stands (i.e. in chat, during rallies, etc.) The referees then make "calls" at the end of every match, rewarding users for their engagement and participation. Unfortunately, the referees weren't fully functional and seemed to drop the ball on recognizing everyone's contributions (especially people who showed up holding valuable assets such as Wildpasses in their wallets, and people who boosted those rallies with credits.) What's happening next: 1. We are combing through ALL the logs from the event right now, to make sure we don't miss a SINGLE action that our viewers and fans took during the event, including what they brought in their wallets (i.e. Wildpass holders!), any credits that were purchased, rallies that users engaged with, etc. This information is normally processed by our referees, who then determine dynamically how they're going to distribute $WC awards. Wow. WOW. WOOOOOOOW. So um, that first Wildcard+Thousands stream was... *amazing* and also... a *lot* 😅 In the end, it was *exactly* what we were hoping for - a true stress test of ALL these systems coming together for the first time. We are SO grateful for the thousands of people who showed up today to play, attend, tune-in and help us PLAYTEST all this new stuff. We can't wait to see you all again at NEXT WEEK'S EX2 EVENT! So, now let's talk about how it went... Stuff that worked: - Our community SHOWED UP. Oh boy did you show up 😅. Our servers were straining under the load... which is good actually, in fact it's the whole point. Even more importantly, we have already received insanely valuable feedback, bug reports, stuff people loved/hated - and it's only been a few hours since the stream ended. I can't even explain to y'all how valuable this process is. Yes it's stressful, it reminds me of trying to keep Words With Friends online during that first insane year, but it's EXACTLY what we were hoping for (NEED) to turn this into the polished, top-notch game and streaming experience we are on a mission to deliver. I truly can't thank y'all enough, and hope to see you again when we run it all back again next week 🥹 - The stream itself stayed up and was mostly stable! Phew 😅. For context, ThousandsTV is not a twitch wrapper, it's a web3-native streaming tech stack built we built specifically to connect game, web/mobile, and blockchain together all at the same time. There are a LOT of moving pieces going on behind the scenes. - We brought viewers INTO THE GAME! Viewers showed up in the stands of the arena, with connected wallets/assets, triggered actions/rallies from chat, and were seen and heard during the whole stream. - The brand new 2v2 build of Wildcard was (mostly) stable and our players and viewers seemed to be having a blast down on the field and up in the stands. It was thrilling to watch Team Blue dominate, even though Team Red held their own in game 3! - Our production crew did an insanely good job running the stream, managing the players, shoutcasters, and talent, and producing a top-notch show. Of course we will work hard to make every stream better than the last, but I was super proud of how our team "rolled with the punches" during today's event. Stuff that didn't work (and/or needs to be dramatically improved): - Although it's fun to see chat going crazy, chat spam is actually something we are passionate to FIX. As you can see from the attached video, chat spam dominated today's stream and made it impossible for anyone to even see anyone else's messages. We have some GREAT ideas for how to fix this and actually turn chat spam into a FUN and exciting and not annoying thing - but those improvements didn't get shipped in time for this event. - Credits purchasing flow needs a LOT of work. As I'm sure y'all know, bringing money on chain is pretty complicated, and although we've been working hard to make this as seamless as possible, it still needs a TON of improvements. Many users who WANTED to spend money today weren't able to and/or ran into frustrating bugs in the credit purchase flow. Fixing this is obviously a top priority for our team. - Rallies need a LOT of work. Spectator-interactive features like rallies are at the heart of our vision for Wildcard. These "stream apps", as we call them, are the UNLOCK for how spectators, viewers and fans directly connect and interact with their favorite competitors, content creators, and communities. The current rally feature HINTS at this potential, but it needs to be WAY easier to understand, use, and have fun with. Improvements are ON THE WAY. - Referees were only partially working. Referees are a key innovation of the Thousands platform. They are AI-driven "personalities" (NPCs) that pay attention to everything that's happening in the arena, both on the field and especially in the stands (i.e. in chat, during rallies, etc.) The referees then make "calls" at the end of every match, rewarding users for their engagement and participation. Unfortunately, the referees weren't fully functional and seemed to drop the ball on recognizing everyone's contributions (especially people who showed up holding valuable assets such as Wildpasses in their wallets, and people who boosted those rallies with credits.) What's happening next: 1. We are combing through ALL the logs from the event right now, to make sure we don't miss a SINGLE action that our viewers and fans took during the event, including what they brought in their wallets (i.e. Wildpass holders!), any credits that were purchased, rallies that users engaged with, etc. This information is normally processed by our referees, who then determine dynamically how they're going to distribute $WC awards. Some things I cannot get over from today’s Basel VIP day, I’m just gonna type once and rip bc I’m eager to get these memories out: Best mic drop moment for digital artists I’ve ever seen. The exhibition looked so damn good, our energy was so high it made the other half of the fair feel vapid. Perennial Basel VIP goers walked a fair booth after booth of what is honestly repetitive “trad” art and then BOOM, they’re instantly stimulated by the masterfully organized Zero to 10 exhibition. They’re hit with the largest crowd they never expected, many of which was anchored by 50-100 crypto friends rekindling, and ready to lend their knowledge to explain the works in front of them like they’re the artists. Speaking to Scott Winkelmann (beeple bro) about how incredible it was to see all the smiling faces videotaping Regular Animals. He mentioned 50+ inquiries for buying one (they sold out before i walked in). It will be the most viral piece in all of Art Miami. Coin Laundry by XCOPY 🏴 with incredible representation and support by Mimi Nguyen and , so busy at times, it was all hands on deck from bonafidehan.eth ⚫ pravijn ⚫️ and anyone who knew what was going on to onboard attendees with their soap. Sergey Brin was there and seen admiring Dmitri Cherniak’s Floor Ringer, the booth looked stunning huge congrats VincentVanDough Aniko Berman and all who repped. Ana María Caballero reciting her beautiful and poem in front of 100s of fully engaged listeners, a wonderfully intimate break during the day. The amount of questions and genuine interest I felt from bankers and their groups of clients awing at the method and output Tyler Hobbs Studio works, and seeing 𝐿𝑒𝓎𝓁𝒶 team handle the interest with the perfect tact. sofia isabel garcia micol Fellowship working a central pillar of the fair, selling all the Ix Shells ( • •) works on display, one of my favorite place to watch reactions from throughout the day. @jackbutcher crushing it as the labeled “manager” and helped his guests Self Checkout and unknowingly mint their first NFTs. Making intros and giving full context tours. Truly amazing work my bros, I’m so happy to see the 10/10 execution. I’ll look to end by saying i don’t care what the culturally deficient say about us, digital art is the artistic movement of our time. I just witnessed the “cool”, elite crowd of society come into our corner of the Art Basel fair and smile with intrigue as they realized why our generation is not going to be buying $60m Rothkos. Our internet native generation deserves this movement. It’s uniquely ours and it’s real as fuck, in the deepest of bears. It wasn’t passed onto us as inheritance, it grew from twitter telegram and discord. It is extreme ownership of what is truly ours, and these Basel VIPs don’t even know (yet) how based it feels to enjoy the true sovereignty of this movement. I didn’t plan to go every day, but now i feel a sense of pride i want to enjoy more days of the week so i will happily be there daily. I need to get my time with Yatreda ያጥሬዳ maya man Joe Pease !!
