Thank you for your devotion to the Lord as well as your efforts to ennoble others. I know how much the Lord loves you and depends upon you. I marvel at your faith and sensitivity to things of the Spirit. I'm inspired by your diligence, dynamic leadership, and your ability to see a need and meet it. Whether it be illiteracy, malnutrition, mental health concerns, or the day-to-day needs of others, you tackle real life issues with a rare combination of skill, compassion, insight, and love. An open letter to Karen Read. Karen, we understand that you sit in the aftermath of your trauma. Nobody should have to live through what you have survived. It’s unfathomable, truly. It is well understood that, as the crumbled ruins of traumatic events still smoulder, vultures and opportunists will gather around to feed on one’s vulnerability. I believe you are a good, kind, decent person. We feel your light and authenticity; your true self, your legitimacy cannot be faked. However, that goodness you exude is irresistible to the leeches, the energy vampires…the clout chasers and the grifters. The darkness needs your vibrancy, and right now, there are deep long shadows cast over you, taking advantage and using you, your vulnerability, as a stepping stone to their own impure ends. They are not your friends. They just aren’t. My wish for you is that you step away from ALL of the content creators; they simply do not have YOUR best interests in mind. I pray that you find the strength and the courage to walk away from all of this toxicity. I believe in you. WE believe in you. Today, like many other days, my soul drifts towards yours in the ether. If only to touch you in some small, insignificant way. If time exists all at once (a harp of ever-playing notes, dark and magnificent); I feel my heart reaching across it to hold you. I want to swim in your woundedness. I want to vibrate with every exquisite sadness you contain, learn the language of your sorrow. I want to write poetry with the words that form the outline of your pain. After carefully studying Obi and supporting him for many years, I’ve watched his recent photoshoots, and I can tell you guys something: there is a picture from that photoshoot that you will hang in your office and see in public spaces as the official portrait of the President of Nigeria. I said it first! 😂 Nigerians, we have to do everything legally and peacefully within our power to make sure Peter Obi becomes the President of this country in 2027. If we are truly interested in a country that works, Obi must be President of Nigeria in 2027. Everybody, dust your PVC, get ready to vote, and most importantly, get ready to protect your vote. Don’t wait for somebody else to defend your vote for you. You vote. You stand by your vote. You defend your vote. 🇳🇬
