SUB 25 MINUTE 5KM!! A few weeks before I announced the UK attempt I set myself a goal to try get sub 25 before I set off for my challenge. Today on the last 5K, we have done it. 24.17 For me this means absolutely everything, it may not be some mad challenge but goals like this make running so beautiful. Very grateful to say we also set a PB on my mile (6.48) and 2 mile (14.36)- something months ago I didn’t think would be possible. Thank you for believing in me❤️

Feeling broken. I’m a positive person. I spend most my energy making others feel good about themselves. I want young girls to have an understanding that they can do sports and be athletic and not feel insecure anouy their bodies. And I love the support I get, but today is one of those days where the trolls have gotten to me. Not for long- I’m going to train and pick myself up. And the lovely messages I get from people saying I’ve inspired them in some way make it worth it. Appreciate you guys ♥️

I don't really listen to all the stuff, there's so many rumors there's so many people making assumptions, comments, judgments, you know 99% of them don't actually know really what's going on 99% of them or probably 100% of them don't know what I've been through to be to get where I am today and I think the other thing.. I often find myself having to just remind myself I have won seven world titles. I have won more than any other driver in history. I have to remind myself that I also have done great things and whilst things are not always so, not always gonna be great, and we're having this period of time things will get better if you believe and if you continue to push you continue to work and there's no lack of enthusiasm or talent in this team so I generally truly believe we're gonna get there at some stage it's just I just you have to be patient"

🐺: i’m truly happy to be able to attend Weibo Cultural Exchange Night in Bangkok today. since this is an event for cultural exchange, it’s especially meaningful to me that i can use my instrument, the erhu, to show more people the possibilities of traditional music and Chinese culture in a modern context. i’m also really looking forward to today’s performance. i have some free time tomorrow. since I’ve come all the way here, i’d love to try some delicious local food and experience the atmosphere and culture for myself. i hope today’s performance goes well so that tomorrow i can relax, get some rest and enjoy some good food. since i’m from Singapore, so Thailand is geographically very close to me, and i’ve always really loved Thailand besides this trip to Bangkok, i’d love to explore and tour other regions of Thailand in the future as well. Delhi Police! Advocate: Some officers of the Delhi Police do not stop acting arbitrarily, and I came across a prime example of this today. I had a Non-Bailable Warrant (NBW) cancelled for a client a few days ago—about 20 days ago—and the next hearing date is approaching soon. However, the Investigating Officer (IO) or the Sub-Inspector (SI) assigned to the case started calling my client frequently, repeatedly warning him that there was an active warrant against him and that he would be arrested. My worried client reached out to me, and I reassured him that the NBW had already been cancelled and there was no need to panic. I asked for the officer's number, explained the situation to the officer myself, and sent him the court's cancellation order. ​Despite receiving the order, the officer still called my client two more times, questioning why he was involving his lawyer and insisting that a warrant was still a warrant, meaning the client had to visit the police station regardless. At that point, instead of calling the IO or SI again, I directly contacted the Station House Officer (SHO) and sent him all the details on WhatsApp. The SHO assured me not to worry and promised to look into the matter personally. I do not know what the SHO said to his subordinate, but just 10 minutes later, I received a WhatsApp call from the SI asking why I escalated the matter directly to the SHO. I replied that it was because he kept repeatedly calling and harassing my client. It is truly astonishing to see how someone can stoop so low to repeatedly pressure a person to visit the police station over a warrant that has already been officially cancelled. In today's times, this is a highly unethical practice carried out not just by the Delhi Police, but by police departments in many other states as well. Thank you, take care, and stay aware.
